Three venison sandwiches and two steaks later . . .
I realize why the stuff tastes so familiar.
Okay, so, yes, I was wrong in my post yesterday that I'd never eaten venison before. I have in fact eaten lots of venison. I have in fact eaten lots of venison killed by wolves.
The only thing I can say in my defense is that there's a huge difference between taking the Saran Wrap off a steak from the freezer and slapping it on the grill, and slicing a dinner-sized portion off the actual still-warm carcass and roasting it on a stick over an open fire.
But guys? The next time I brainfart the three months we spent in an alternate dimension, feel free to smack me one. :)
