We need to put a sign on the gate. We can get it done up really classy, hang it up right under the "Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters" sign. Nothing huge, just, y'know, tasteful and discreet.

"Invasions By Appointment Only, Between the Hours of 12:00 and 2:00 PM."

Every damn time with this it's the middle of the night. I mean, do the bad guys not realize some of us have quizzes?

Seriously, though, everybody's okay, right?

We need a butler or something. Like Alfred. So he could answer the door when these guys show up in the middle of the night, look down his nose, and shame them into calling again at a reasonable hour through sheer force of stiff upper lip.

I think lunch would have to cost extra. And we'd expect to be tipped. And probably they'd have to stay after the invasion to help with the dishes, because that's just polite.

I have fuzzy slippers. Yes. Moira bought them for me. They're nice and quiet; one less sound I had to make certain doorcrashers not hear last night.

I am -terribly- jealous. I think I was directing some of the evacuation in mismatched shoes, and I know for a fact that one of them was Amanda's, as I do not own trainers with holes in them.
