For "it," read "everything in the new room that can possibly be made to hold packing peanuts, and then be rigged to make the peanuts explode when their container is opened.." My desk drawers. My dresser. My closet.
. . . My shoes.
I'm starting to get very, very paranoid. Also, snowed in. And, appropriately, sheepish. I think somebody got early warning on the room-change and had some fun.
A lot of fun, actually.
. . . DOUG! How the heck did you find my secret cookie stash and rig it with packing peanuts?
Good God, man, you've been practicing. :)

A good prankster never reveals his sources, roomie mine. :)

That's okay, I think I can guess.
Man, they're getting sneaky. I'm so proud.

I am too. I'd like to think I've taught them a decent amount.
And don't you think Mister Summers would be so proud at all the real-world practice we give those principles from his engineering class? ;-)

I think we should ask for extra credit. :)

I'm game. Between the toaster, the image inducers, and the compressed air canisters (which is how I worked it, by the by, for future pranking reference), I'd say we've amply demonstrated good engineering practices.

Well, the image inducers were Doc McCoy's show, really. I just came up with the idea and helped him put together and install the units, and, um, laughed a heck of a lot.
But you deserved it after that thing with the clothes. Took me days to come up with a suitable response for that.

Hey, as Mister Summers tells us, half of engineering is in identifying the problem and coming up with a solution. ;-)
And you're still up on me, because it took me this long to come up with a proper response to the image inducer thing. :) But I'd like to think the wait made it more unexpected and effective that way.

Definitely.
I'm still finding little explosive packets all over the place. How many of these did you make?
