Well, the Red X stuff was pretty cool (and it's a pretty snazzy jacket) but man . . . I swear, they must use the same kind of disinfectant stuff on the CPR practice dummies all over the country, 'cause it smelled exactly the same as it did when I did CPR in Scouts.
My theory? The disinfectant and the rubber dummy are supposed to smell like that, so if you ever actually have to do CPR on a real person, at least you can say they smell better.
Seems pretty organized, this thing. I was impressed. Now I just hope I don't run into any more trick walls. ;)

Randomly, I seem to have made two cheesecakes today and the freezer is a little crowded. You want to come get the spare and the chocolate sauce for it?

Yes, ma'am! Freezer overcrowding is a serious problem. Pretty soon you get the vegetables declaring war on the TV dinners over six inches of ice tray, and you can't open the door anymore without catching half a Julienne fry in your ear. I've seen it happen. Not pretty. Anything I can do to stave off the jihad, well, that's just my bounden duty to the school, I'd say.
Mmm, chocolate sauce . . . be right down. :)

This got me thinking about my normal power - not the annoying makes-me-not-sleep one, but the one I LIKE...
The things I make are much more solid than before. I wonder if I could make a wall.. if I had a picture of one.

Draw one and find out? I'll test it for solidity, y'know, as long as you avoid spearing it with a tree, because that would be less than good.

I swear on my soul, no spearing with trees.
I think maybe a picture of a wall might work better though. I am less good with things than I am with people.

Hrm. .. I wonder if I have any pictures.

Wow. Huh. "Gotcha, no spearing with trees" woulda been fine, y'know. :)
You're better at drawing people than walls? Maybe it's just that I do a mean deformed-stick-figure and nothing else, but that seems kinda backwards to me. People are a lot more complicated than walls, what with the being roundish and bumpy instead of basically flat. Art is weird, I guess.
. . . And can't you just look at one of the actual walls in whatever room you're in, and use that?

I like it my way better. It sounds nicer.
Walls are all exact lines and angles and math things. People are soft.
And.. no, I don't know why, but my own wall does not work.

Yeah, it does. It also sounds kinda like you're afraid I'll keel over or something at the hint of tree-spearing, and need extra reassurance. ;)
But if you took a Polaroid of your wall, that would work? Mutant powers are weird.

Blame French Literature? Besides, if you _were_ going to keel over, wouldn't you want extra reassurance?
I do not know. I .. do not have an instant camera.

Well, yeah, but I stopped keeling over months ago. Makes walking down the hall go a lot faster. ;)
We've got like sixteen gazillion millionaires in this building. Somebody has to have a Polaroid. Or a digital camera, if they really must.

You were going to get smacked in with trees in the hallway?
How much money is sixteen gazillion million dollars? *giggle*

Nah, the tree missed. Was never sure if that was a good thing or not. I meant I stopped worrying about walls falling on me with or without trees stuck through them.
Sizteen gazillion million dollars is way more than anybody will ever need in the entire lifetime of the whole planet, so it's probably about $5 less than what the Professor paid for the basement.
