Making my own fun

because it's a Thursday afternoon and I don't have classes on Thursdays and way too many people are too busy studying for finals.
It's only the kind of fun I'm supposed to be making, though. Beating-Google-with-a-very-large-stick sort of fun. :)
I should see how this place is fixed for video games . . .
Anyway.
Hey Alex! Welcome to the East Coast. Some of these places are kinda far away, but Virginia and New Jersey aren't that bad. And I think I vaguely remember you have some sort of family connection around here who knows how to fly some sort of fastest jet ever. ;)
Now, what to do with the rest of the afternoon. Maybe I'll take a walk.

I figure by now you've found the set up in the rec room. We pretty much all share (be kind to the controllers, don't force games in and out of the slots, if you break/spill/lose something admit it), although some people hide the better games or the ones they want to beat first.
PS2's mine, as are most of the puzzle games that are about, and I think most of the "make things go 'splode'" games are Bobby's, although I could be wrong...
x_beast has the greatest console gaming set up on the planet, but it's down in the lab and he's gone so we're mostly not supposed to be down there.
All the computer games we've uploaded are stored in the "Shh... don't tell" icon on the desktop of the school 'puters. The teachers know about them but don't hassle us as long as we can prove we've done our work before we goof off.
Have fun!

Woohoo! You are a goddess. :)
. . . Now I have to decide if I want a puzzle game or a things-go-'splode game. Hm. I wonder if there's any puzzles-that-go-'splode.
Or maybe I'll just fall back on old habits and do a four-handed all-Jamie Tekken tournament, if there's Tekken. One of my dupe-independence exercises. ;) You're welcome to come and watch if you think you can pry yourself away from the fascinating world of pre-exam stress.

Of course there's Tekken, and that's a very tempting offer. Spending all my time buried in these books probably isn't real good for me, is it?
I'll be up there soon...

That's exactly what I was gonna say next. Good thing I didn't have to. :)

Jamie, you are wicked! Thanks!
Have heard jammin things about East Coast beaches, especially in Virginia Beach. Will defiantly have to talk the ole big brother into a surfing field trip this summer for anyone who wants to come. You up for a little surfing Jamie?
Count me in if you kind any good games around here. Never tried video games before...adopted family never let me and surfing was to much fun =)

Never tried it before, but it looks like fun, which is pretty much my motto around here these days.
They've got nothing but good video games here, it looks like. I'm mostly all about the multiplayer, but if there's anything in particular you wanted to try, I bet they've got it.
