Sam? Lorna? You guys'd probably know better'n anybody . . . are Ms. Blaire and Kurt dating, or something? Never seen anybody dressed like that outside the movies, and I never saw anybody act like that since my mom and dad on their twentieth anniversary a couple years ago.
Heh. Y'know, I bet they'll have the image things on while they're out, but what with Ms. Blaire's dress the way it was they looked pretty good together. And I guess they've got a lot in common, both being from performing backgrounds and all.
Hope they have a good time.

Woah.
Um, not that I know of?
But maybe Al's decided to start not telling me Things.

...bitterness was never your best look, brother darling.

...?
I'm not bitter, just surprised that she never told me. Or Kurt for that matter. I mean, he's my roommate!
But it's probably nothing anyway, so. No big deal.

Excuse me while I get on my unbelieving voice to say, "Mhm..."

I don't get it, Gee!
Why am I supposed to be bitter here??

Well, I dunno, I could be wrong. But they were being awfully friendly on the stairs.
And they're both really nice, so I think it'd be kinda cool if they were dating. But I thought I'd ask people who'd know better before I started getting the wrong idea.

Huh. Well, I haven't heard anything.
But I don't guess that means they're not.

They do look fabulous together, don't they? You should see how many outfits Ali went through, though! A hurricane would have made less of a mess. If that's what went on before a concert then I pity her stylist! Or maybe not, since the results are clearly worth it.
Just between you, me and the wall, Ali's been looking forward to this for ages. I'm glad she's finally got someone that she can party with. We're all a little tame for her, I think. She needs that flamboyance.

She couldn't have gotten a nicer guy. Kurt's great! :)

He is, isn't he? *beams* He's really the kind of guy your parents hope you'll meet. Or well, no, I take that back. Kurt's a bit too out there for your average parent. Parents hope for steady guys like you. But you can't beat him for flashy floor shows.

Yeah, she really looked good. I think I'm starting to see what you were saying about fancy clothes and makeup and stuff that other discussion.
I still think it's not necessary, but on somebody who already looks good it sure doesn't hurt.

Nothing like a visual aid.
See, this is why I try to leave a dupe behind here when I go off somewhere. Always something going on, and this way I can have my Chinese-food-I-can't-pronounce-but-which-tasted-very-good and eat it too. :)

Chinese? Oh that's right! How was your date? Did you two have fun?
Re:

June 12 2003, 22:07:20 UTC
. . .
It was fun.
I dunno if it was a date, though, Kitty was just bored and wanted out of the mansion. Kurt and Ms. Blaire getting all dressed up to go dancing, that's more like what a date's supposed to be, isn't it?
Re:

Date is a flexible term. Covers dancing, movies, dinner...lots of things.
x_crowdofone
June 12 2003, 22:19:44 UTC
Well, I think Kitty would've said something if she wanted it to be a date.

yeah.
x_crowdofone
June 13 2003, 10:50:16 UTC
Well . . . d'you want it to have been a date? Because that would be okay. I mean--not just okay, we had a really good time, so--well, we could do that.
Re:

June 13 2003, 12:00:40 UTC
yeah, we did have a lot of fun...
maybe... maybe this time was just lots of fun and we could go on a date this weekend or something, I mean, if you want.
Re:

We could do that. And it would make more sense if we both knew it was a date going in. Less confusing after. Probably.
We could go see that new Harrison Ford movie. Or Finding Nemo. Or something else. What do you want to do?
Re:

June 13 2003, 12:25:47 UTC
Oh, I want to see Finding Nemo desperately. I love Pixar's work and this is supposed to be their best movie yet.
Does that sound ok to you?
x_crowdofone
June 13 2003, 12:37:00 UTC
Yeah, it does. :) Do you want to go tomorrow, maybe? And can we walk to the theater, or do we have to ask somebody to drive us?
Re:
x_kitten
June 13 2003, 13:08:48 UTC
The theater isn't really in walking distance, so unless you'd rather take the bus we'd probably need to ask.
:)
Re:

June 13 2003, 13:12:05 UTC
Well, I think the bus would be more weird than asking someone.
Wish I had my license.

Talk to Mr. Summers. You're old enough to get your learner's permit out here, and I think there's some sort of restricted license teenagers can get too.
Re:

June 13 2003, 13:46:29 UTC
Yeah, I was thinking about that.
I've had my farm license for a year now, but I don't think it counts as a learner's permit out here.
