I'm already halfway through my math homework and I've got a good start on my paper for Lorna ('scuse me, "Miss Dane." ;)) Sometimes it's kinda annoying being able to be in three places at once. Especially when I've got huge long breaks between classes (why isn't it 2:00 yet? Argh.)
I don't know what I'm going to do with my morning tomorrow, either. At least Friday's busy. Maybe I'll see if Paige or Sam is around to go riding, since I dunno if I'm allowed to by myself yet . . . y'know, I should e-mail Mom about getting my bike here. And there's juggling, and those physics books, and video games, so there's stuff to do, I guess. Just most of that's stuff to do by myself.

I am so very jealous of your mutation at the moment.
As for tomorrow? I'm available until ten, one hour breaks at one and three and done the day at five.
I'm thinking I should just post my schedule and make this easier on everyone.

Well, it's a lot easier when I'm doing assignments as different as trig and philosophy--if I were trying to write a paper for lit, instead of doing math, it'd be harder to keep stuff from leaking.
I don't have to stop typing a paper to look up references, though, that's handy. :)
Wednesday's my flop day, I guess-nothing till noon, then a break from one to three, and I'm done at five too. Be nice to take Cricket out for some exercise. I've been going down and helping feed the horses and clean the stables and things sometimes, because taking care of animals reminds me of home, but riding's more fun. :)
Hey, if Kitty's not doing anything--Kitty, how's your morning tomorrow?--can she come too? She said she wanted to give it a try.

My mornings are pretty empty. I've got Gymnastics at 9, but am free before then. Or I've got all of tomorrow morning, but you're in Anatomy, right?
x_crowdofone
June 24 2003, 17:36:46 UTC
Yeah, but Anatomy's on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Wednesday I'm completely open in the morning.
I dunno if it would be a good idea taking you out riding for the first time right before gymnastics, though, I was pretty sore my first time. Maybe it'd be a better idea this weekend? Then again, you're probably a lot more flexible than I am. Up to you. :)

Hmph. Sure... curse me to sore muscles and such. :p
Nah, I'm kidding. I'm sure I'll be fine, and if I'm not then I should have known better.

Makes me wish I had any clue about back rubs. :) See you first thing tomorrow down at the stables then?

Hmm....
Perhaps in conjunction with Ms. Bartlet's anatomy class, we could work in some massage therapy courses. Ms. Munroe and I have been trained, it might be worth getting others trained, if they were so inclined.

That would be cool, especially with all the circus stuff and the combat classes. I'll definitely sign up.

Gah! Don't call me Miss Dane, what am I ninety?
I know what you mean about breaks. I've got an hour in the middle of every day with not a single thing going on.
x_crowdofone
June 24 2003, 17:41:07 UTC
Nah, then it'd be "Ms." :)
And I think they call that "lunch," you know . . .
Mostly I think I feel weird because I'm used to having all my farm chores too. Feels like I'm not juggling enough, with just classes and homework and stuff.
Re:

June 24 2003, 18:37:26 UTC
Ms. is old ladyish? Here I thought it was a feminist thing.
Lunch? Damn it, I knew I forgot something.
x_crowdofone
June 24 2003, 18:42:31 UTC
Well, that too.
And don't ever let on you forgot a meal if my grandma ever visits. I'm pretty sure the only person she'd think is getting enough to eat around here is Piotr.
x_polarisstar
June 24 2003, 19:16:04 UTC
Wow...your grandma sounds frightening considering Piotr is the only one around here eating like he is a whole football team.

June 24 2003, 19:27:59 UTC
Well, she was married to my grandpa for fifty years, so draw your own conclusions. :)
Nah, she's a neat lady. Just considers regular meals to be the eleventh commandment, which I don't mind, because she was the one who taught my dad to grill. Since he was the one who taught me, I figure you can see where I'm going here.
x_polarisstar
June 24 2003, 19:34:04 UTC
This is the grandfather of the coffee of glory, I assume?
*consults her logic roadmap* Yup, looks like your final destination is that you enjoy burning meat over open flame. *grins*
x_crowdofone
June 24 2003, 19:42:13 UTC
That's the one. And . . . yeah, that's a workable destination. Mmm, meat over an open flame.

I think you just like flashy grilling tricks. You're like those trick chefs at a Japanese restaurant.
Re:

That too. :D
You know, now that I've been practicing juggling, I bet I could get really fancy.

Next Friday is the Fourth. Aren't bbqs traditional? Right up there with baseball and apple pie.
Re:

June 24 2003, 20:29:17 UTC
. . . That's a good point. Too bad Jubilee's out of town.
Pie is beyond my skills, but I can field most of a baseball team. Hmm.
x_polarisstar
June 24 2003, 20:35:11 UTC
Jubilee isn't the only one who can put on a major lights show.
I can make pie. I don't usually bake but hey, for a good cause. And I can play shortstop.
Re:
x_crowdofone
June 24 2003, 20:49:27 UTC
This is true. She did a really amazing job last time, though.
And now that I know you can make pie we have to do it. You have been hiding pie from the world.
Re:
x_polarisstar
June 24 2003, 20:54:47 UTC
She did. But I bet I can harrass the roomie. Don't you recall the other thing Alison Blaire shows were famous for? Fabulous light shows.
Don't think this means I'm going to turn into a pie baking fiend. This is strictly a one time deal.
x_crowdofone
June 24 2003, 20:56:38 UTC
Gosh, you'd think I don't have all of her televised concerts on tape, or something. :)
Pie-hider.

You're a disgrace to the noble title of Fanboy.
Am Not!!
x_crowdofone
June 24 2003, 21:05:40 UTC
Ah, see, you weren't here when I showed up, I made a complete idiot of myself and thereby earned enough fanboy credit that I'm allowed to act like a normal human being.
And you so are. I don't see any pie, do you? Actually, you probably do, since you're hiding it.
Re:
x_polarisstar
June 24 2003, 21:11:30 UTC
Not if you forgot something that basic. You have lost all your fanboy credit. You must earn it back. I hereby appoint you in charge of convincing Ali to do the light show. Bribe her if you must.
And I'm not hiding pie! Where would I hide a whole pie let alone more than one?
Re:
x_crowdofone
June 24 2003, 21:23:26 UTC
I didn't forget! I just said it was too bad Jubilee was out of town because her actual power is fireworks. You are slandering my fanboy credit.
But I'll ask anyway, because I'm just that kind of guy.
And you're hiding pie by refusing to bake it, therefore denying the world pies that it otherwise could have eaten. You're hiding pie with your mind.
Re:
x_polarisstar
June 24 2003, 21:27:28 UTC
Don't forget the bribes. I suggest chocolate.
Actually, wouldn't that be hiding them by omission? You know, hiding by not doing anything at all?
And what I'm actually doing is providing the world with more pies than it would normally have as this is not a usual thing for me.
So there. Thbbbbt!
x_crowdofone
June 24 2003, 21:38:38 UTC
Bribes with chocolate are my specialty.
You're hiding your light under a bushel. With your pies.
x_polarisstar
June 24 2003, 21:42:58 UTC
No, I'm hiding them with my back up coffee supply...erm, I mean, I don't have any. No pies here. Nope, nope, nope.

Re:

Oh dear god, yesterday was torture! I think I went through a whole bottle of aspirin. The smug smirking looks from the roomie didn't help much either.
Re:

For Halloween, you should dress up as Agent Smith. :D
