Good morning, Mr. Ramsey.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to acquire a date for this Friday evening.
Should you fail, as always the agency will disavow all knowledge of your actions. The agency might also occasionally make clucking noises, as of a chicken, in your general direction.
This message would have appeared to self-destruct in five seconds if I'd had time to rig some smoke paper in your computer fan, but I didn't, so you'll just have to pretend.

A date? For Friday?
And you're not even going to tell me what it's for?
*whimper*

Well, I guess you don't have to get one, I can always see if Lorna and Alex want these other two In the Buff concert tickets. You never know, they might like a cappella groups.
Wibble.

In The Buff?
What? How?
And whether or not I am a big chicken, you give away my ticket at your own peril.

They're at NYU this coming weekend. And since I've kinda liked 'em ever since somebody practically glued their CDs into my player, I thought it might be cool to take Kitty to see them live. I've even already gotten transportation lined up.
And like I say, I have these two extra tickets that, y'know, if you had anybody you wanted to ask, ahem, I say again, if you had anybody you've been praying for an excuse to ask out on a date, I could see my way clear to sliding your way. I could even probably find a silver platter around here to present them on. But since you'd look pretty silly sitting next to Kitty and me all by yourself, if for any reason you don't ask who we both know damn good and well you want to ask, you'll have to make your own arrangements.
C'mon, man, it's not gonna get any easier than this. :)

Wow. I never would have thought to check their guest concert schedule. You rule.
And you are entirely too smug. And entirely too right. And entirely too smug _about_ being right.
Not only that, I have a sneaking suspicion you are well aware of who "anybody [I've] been praying for an excuse to ask out on a date" is.
Grr.

[Brando]Let me make you an offer you can't refuse . . .[/Brando]
And regarding your sneaking suspicion, let me point out a few things:
1. I live with you.
2. I'm not quite as dumb as I look.
3. The thing about "acting normal" is that by definition it's how you act when you're not trying to act anything. Nobody works that hard to act normal, and even you only work that hard when certain people are also in the room. Kitty's the math genius, but I can put two and two together. :)
So go ask her out already.
Okay, okay...

After watching Dead Poets Society, I have mustered up enough nerve.
Carpe diem.
If you hear a barbaric YAWP coming from our room, you will know the outcome. *chuckle*

Good. I thought you'd wait until tomorrow afternoon. :)
