I forgot to mention in my other post because I got sidetracked by mail, and then I got sidetracked by getting sidetracked, heh, but my parents are driving up this weekend and they should be here next Monday, and they'd like to stay through the 29th if that's OK. They're pretty excited about meeting everybody.

Don't worry about getting them something impressive, we don't usually go in for huge expensive presents in my family--heh, actually, introduce my mom to Dr. McCoy and you'll be set for her, wish I'd thought of that earlier. Or wangle her a closer look at the plane--she reverted completely back to Air Force base brat on me the first couple of weeks I was here. Who knew there was that much random trivia about Blackbirds?

And my dad was making rumblings about a new whittling knife the last time I talked to him, so I got him one, so if you wanted to get a nice sheath for it, or a whetstone, or something, that would be absolutely perfect.

And there's really nothing to worry about. They want me to be happy; you make me happy; therefore they will like you. Completely painless and stress-free. :)

We _are_ still planning to have a concert, right? When were we planning that? Jono'll be back in time, right? And have we got the setlist straight? My brain has been a little fuzzy, lately, between finals and things that were supposed to happen on Saturday but didn't. Anyways. *scratches head* Is it me, or am I more rambly and scatterbrained than usual? :)
