My parents are here. You'll probably run into them eventually--think my dad went down to the stables, and my mom's just sort of randomly wandering around and looking at stuff, because she likes that better than a tour.

Oh, and she's sort of looking for you too, Alison. When'd you guys get to be friends? And what's she been saying about me?

I'm sure she did. I mean, I said not to, which I really should've known better than to do. Naked baby me will undoubtedly be making the rounds at some point. She'd love to meet Miles, though, I bet. At least so she can let you know what to expect. :)

ohgod.

Okay, first of all, the incident at the school play was not my fault.

And we didn't have any horses, so of course I tried riding the cows. It only makes sense!

And I swear, that picture with the jack-o-lantern was staged. I don't care how many times she tells you I crawled in there on my own. It's a frame-up.

Who? Or is it a surprise?

You know, you are lucky that I have this slang dictionary, because "get a kick out of' literally means that Blinky would kick him, and for a moment, I was confused.

Once you folks are back from the movies, I can bring Blinky out for a bit. I need to exercise my artistic side anyway, there's not a lot of reason to bring out Blinky when I'm sitting down here watching machines going beep.

Since Miss Rourke's journal won't let me post a reply, can I throw my hat into the "I haven't seen RotK yet, can I come?" camp? I'll buy the popcorn and obnoxiously fizzy sodas..

I hope Kitty's nervousness was all for naught - I haven't seen anything about her being eaten alive by your parents yet, anyway, so I can only assume it's going alright.

Hey, I have to thank you people for not maiming me on sight somehow. Treating people to popcorn at a movie I want to see anyway seems pretty reasonable to me.
