Actually, I might do that anyway. Rye toast? So good.

I wondered why there was suddenly a mountain lion running through the TV room. And I seriously thought I'd seen it all at Xavier's. You know, there seem to be a lot of predator style feral mutations. Always made me wonder if somewhere there wasn't someone who could morph themselves into like a cow, or a pigeon.

My dad, actually, when he was here visiting. Caught me off-guard while I was showing him around.

And a pirate's hat? I may have the leg and the hand (arr!), but both my eyes work. Somewhat. Damned astigmatism.

*snickers* You know, how bad is the astigmatism? Cause, either laser surgery or if it's bad enough, I heard there's contacts now that they can implant directly over your eyes. (This is what happens when I'm left alone in a room with medical journals. Out of sheer self defence, I read them.)

Still think 'Pirates of Caribbean' theme for Halloween is a good idea. I totally have a 'Gwen Stefani' look planned out for myself.

It's mild, but if I try and do fine detail work without glasses or contacts for extended periods of time, I get pretty massive eyestrain headaches. Thing is, if I'm in "the zone" and going full-bore working on something, my brain won't register the headache until I'm done - when it's about ten times as bad. So yeah, glasses it is. No need for the permanent contacts, and I'm a little iffy about people shooting me in the eye with lasers.

Ouch. Dude, reminds me of how I sometimes forget to eat if I'm in the middle of a perfect routine on the uneven bars. Sucks that I could never try out of the olympics. I'd so kick so much ass.
