We need to put a sign on the gate. We can get it done up really classy, hang it up right under the "Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters" sign. Nothing huge, just, y'know, tasteful and discreet.

"Invasions By Appointment Only, Between the Hours of 12:00 and 2:00 PM."

Every damn time with this it's the middle of the night. I mean, do the bad guys not realize some of us have quizzes?

Seriously, though, everybody's okay, right?

From what I've seen, all that practice with the evacuation drills worked like a charm. But I hear you on the middle of the night thing - it's bloody freezing in those escape tunnels at 3 in the bleeding morning. Especially when you don't exactly wear much to bed.

Yep. Definitely not my trousers.

For the record, Manuel and I are all right. Got a page from Moira saying the medlab was being evacuated okay, so I think all's well there too.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna ask Mr. Lee if those things are supposed to be cold for, I dunno, fooling heat scans, or if it's just that the insulation needs replacing, because that was decidedly not comfy.
