Spell all broken? Yes? Everybody back in their right minds? Good. Time for a little vocab quiz. There's just one question.
What word fits the definition "force someone to perform sexually against their will?"
Well, I guess there's another question.
What the hell were you thinking, you twisted bitch?

Hey, now wait. Far as I can tell, all Amanda did was hand the potion to Doug and let him make his own choice about what to do with it. Whatever happened after that to cause all this, I don't know. But you're talking like she dumped it everybody's food, or in the water tank, or something. And I don't believe she'd do anything like that. 'Cause if she had, she'd have made damn sure she wasn't affected, no?

Yeah, that was almost funny--she's not even competent about warping people's minds. Because let's be clear here, that's exactly what she meant to do.

True enough. But again, the final choice of whether to do it or not didn't lie with her, as far as any of us knows. She handed it to Doug - and I'm not saying I think Doug wanted this to happen, not for a minute. But someone took that potion and used it.

Cool. I'll just go get a loaded gun, take off the safety, and hand it to someone who's never seen one, then. Final choice about whether or not it gets used doesn't lie with me, after all.
Whoever it was that used it--if someone even did, and it's not that Amanda just didn't put the cap on tightly enough and it works on fumes, or something--she still made the thing in the first place.

Jamie?
You aren't helping. Can you just .. go cool off for a bit?
I know you are upset and angry and scared, because I am upset and angry and scared too. Because everyone is upset and angry and scared.
That sounded too much like Manuel. You know what I mean, I hope.
Mr. Wisdom said Amanda is being punished. Everything else can wait. It can.

I can stop arguing about it in here, yeah.
But I refuse to not be angry about this. Whatever else happened and whoever else is to blame, Amanda's still the one who woke up one morning and thought "Hmm, Doug's incapable of getting a date on his own, and I have no problem with treating people like playthings." And she deserves to have people mad at her for both parts.
And okay, maybe she didn't literally think that. Maybe she didn't think at all. But that would be worse, because it means she can do stuff like this just by being careless. And if that's the case, then she needs to hear it from as many people as possible so she gets the message.
But, okay, I get that I'm the minority opinion, so I'm done here.

I never said not to be angry. Be angry.
Just ... can we all just stop worrying this into the ground over and over and over in circles?

Aye, as soon as Sarah and Angelo get it through their heads that Amanda did something to be blamed for, and she's the one we know that about.
You said she's being punished. Is it dishes again, and if so, is that really a good idea?

Everyone: Calm. Down. Now.
There's tea and cake. Go drink it, and eat it, respectively.
Neither Sarah nor Angelo are saying that Amanda is completely innocent here, and the fact that she's being punished - appropriately, since I believe Pete handled that and I trust him to handle this with all the severity and seriousness it is due - should be enough to make this bitchfest stop.
So. We can all continue fuming here, making it worse, or we could do something novel and concentrate on fixing things. Scary thought, I know.

Thank you, Mr. Shaw, but I don't think I care to eat or drink anything around here right now.
The part of "fixing things" that would involve finding out who used the potion Amanda made and where else they might have put it -- or something else -- isn't done yet, after all, and as I'm not sure how to go about that one, I think I'll be outside.

I am nearly certain it will not be dishes.
Sarah and Angelo aside, can we just stop? Its driving Manuel mad, and it isn't helping any of the rset of us one bit.
